Anyone who has a history with Pokemon will understand the excitement of starting a new game.

But anyway, Oak just caught the wild Pikachu that was about to go crazy on me. I think Pallet town needs some kind of government intervention, because apparently if I take a single step outside the city limits, wild electric rats just attack. Luckily Professor Oak is around to protect the 10-year-old boys in town.

My friend Ryan and I played Pokemon for about ten minutes. Our brief and collected rantings are available at pokemen.tumblr.com Yes. Wow.

Yo broskies,

  I had a crazy dream last night.  I went to the top of the universe (?!) where I met the ruler of the universe, named HOBBOB and he looked like Jabba the Hut but thinner.  He proceeded to give me rule over the universe, because I defeated his enemy.  So we (you, me and mom) were traveling around, witnessing my lands, and I decided that because I was the ruler of the universe, I was invincible (pretty logical conclusion, right?)  Turns out that’s not in the ruler-of-the-universe bylaws. 

But I didn’t know that at the time, and I convince you to jump in icy water with me, because I was sure we would survive.  You almost died.   You then got really small and mom and I went around the basement of the universe -which, if you care, is filled with squash courts - and tried to escape the water.   You then died (now the size and shape of a small spoon - like baskin-robins-sampling-spoon small), despite my best efforts to save you.  
 
I think HOBBOB played me.
